At Scent Better, we provide you with the best possible service at great prices. We ship quickly and offer a great return policy so that you can explore our range of diffusers and aroma oils risk-free. Discover answers to our most frequently-asked questions about shipping and returns.  

How long does shipping take?

We process and ship every order within one day to provide quick and accurate delivery. Most orders placed before 2:00 pm MST are processed and shipped the same day. Orders placed after this time will be shipped the following day.

Depending on your location, you can expect to receive your order in one to six business days. We ship all orders from our Phoenix, Arizona, USA distribution center. Locations closer to Phoenix will naturally receive their orders faster. Note that international orders may take longer as per the discretion of customs agents.

What is your return policy?

We want you to have an excellent home scenting experience, and we invite you to return items within 14 days of purchase if they aren’t a good fit. Our generous return policy guarantees your complete satisfaction. For optimal convenience, we recommend ordering oil samples before purchasing to ensure that each scent suits your preferences. Should you decide to return a diffuser or aroma oil within 14 days, simply visit our Returns Center to initiate your return.

We ask that you do not return diffusers or oils without filling out your returns form first, as this step will ensure the speediest resolution. Please keep in mind that Sale and Final Sale items may not be returned.

Can I get a refund?

We are happy to provide full refunds on diffusers and oils in new, unused condition. Once your return has been authorized through our Returns Center and we have received the item at our warehouse, we will process the return within five to 10 business days.

If you placed your order within the last 14 days, you can receive a full refund for unused, new-condition items. Used and damaged items will receive a store credit for the original purchase amount.

Note: should you receive a damaged item, contact us immediately so that we can replace it.

Who pays duty fees?

On Canadian and international orders, the customer is responsible for all applicable customs taxes, fees, and duties. In accordance with customs requirements, we list the value of your order on the package. Releasing your package is at the sole discretion of customs agents.

Note: there are rare occasions in which delivery of certain packages may be delayed by customs agents. Payment may be required to release the package from customs. You may pay these charges via COD (cash on delivery) or credit card. Should these charges remain unpaid, the package will be returned to Scent Better.
